In this day and age, we all are busy and do not tend to see our health which is the most important part of our life. We can be in charge of our health by just taking out some time every day. Below are some of the ways to care about our health.

  • Stretch arms and legs in the morning: Stretching helps to increase flexibility in muscle and joint. It also helps in circulation of blood flow and relieves stress. 

  • Drink water: Our body is made of 60% of water. We are always losing water either in the form of sweat or urine. So in order to avoid dehydration, we must regularly drink sufficient amount of water. It is normally recommended to drink 2 liters of water every day. Drinking water can remove toxins from our body and there will be less prone to diseases such as constipation, kidney stone, acne, and several other diseases.

  • Smile to strangers: Smile is a free and easy form to attain happiness. When we smile there are more chances that they will return us back smile. Try this it will definitely improve your mood and increases positivity.

  • Eat Slowly: Eating slowly will help in better digestion, weight loss, and satisfaction with food. Most of the times we eat fast but if we change this habit and eat slowly it will change and improve our overall health.

  • Exercise: Doing regular exercise will keep our body fit and healthy. Whenever I am tired from work I go to the gym and find more energy. Exercise will releases serotonin hormone from our body which will improve our mood and helps relieve depression. Exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 to 45 minutes.

  • Hang out with friends: Going out with friends will reduce your stress and increase happiness. You can share your problems with your friends and they might give you a good suggestion to overcome it. You can also be able to cope traumas such as divorce, loss of a job, serious diseases or death of a loved one.

  • Write down what you have accomplished: At the end of the day writing down what you have achieved will make you happier and remind you what needs to be done in the future. You will also be able to share all your emotions in the paper.

  • Get a Massage: Massage has several benefits to our health. Some of them relieve stress, improves blood flow, sleep and reduces pain. It is the best therapy.

  • Get Enough Sleep: We need to sleep well so that our brain and body can relax and be ready for another productive day. Sleeping well will make us less sick, maintain weight, reduces stress and improves mood.  According to National sleep foundation, sleep duration varies with the age, for 18 to 64 years of old age it is recommended to sleep 7 to 9 hours every day.
