If you are traveling to Toronto then you must visit African Lion Safari. It was opened on 1969 and has successfully completed 50 years. I visited last week and it was a great experience. This zoo is home to over 1,000 animals and birds. Total area of the park is over 750 acre. Per person ticket cost for an adult is $39.95 CAD. You can closely look at the animals from your car. Also, you can see several shows performed by an elephant and other animals. There are train and boat ride from the same ticket with no additional cost. There is a small water park as well for the kids. Children will definitely enjoy it. Below are some of the pics taken from the zoo.
